Morning, Engine 33 is out the door and down the road, they get on thier gear, Brian Stolly talks about being a Kentland man and a D.C Firefigher. We arrive on scene of vehicle accident. Back at the Station, a call comes in for a structure fire, both Engine 33 and Rescue 33 respond out the door. A day full of calls...then, we ride with one of the live-in volunteer firefighters in the buggy to a Box Call, this could be a fire...it's at the Six Flags Theme park and by the Radio Chatter, it's HUGE.

Station 17, roll-call. The young Probie, you've seen him in several early webisodes....arrives to his first real roll call. And as usual, just after roll-call... he's transferred to Station 10; we'll catch up with him later. So, we hang with Rescue 17's crew, EMS call to a muni-bus, next call, smoke at a restaurant. Night falls, a call comes in, it's a structure fire just down the street and who do we find at his first fire?

Station 9, Engine 9's "B" Shift. Captain Karey Wedemeyer and her crew run mostly EMS calls until the late afternoon,

Night, after a long day, a call comes in, it's a structure fire, smoke showing, Engine 33 and Twoer 33 respond. The Deputy Chief is driving the engine, he stops at the hydrant, the Tower drives by and lands in the driveway of the structure. The pull lines, the enter the front door of the home, outside, they start to ventalite, the door is opened and we are inside the garage. After enough water has been used, the thermal imager camera is brought in to make sure that evey ember is out. Back at the station

H2 Firefighter and Rescue Professional James Draper talks about "Being on the job." Then, a medical and later in the afternoon, a small structure fire. Next up, it's a call with the crew on the engine and these are the Medical EMS Calls that can kill a first responder. Its now madatory to wear gloves, but it should be MANADATORY TO WEAR GOGGLES as we see why, the Pathogens that can kill a 1st Responder.
