Night contiunes, Engine 33 responds, smoke showiing. At the end of the call, the Truck Co. leaves;says it's clear and safe, Deputy Chief Pat Mann followed his instinks and he saved the day. Chief Kelleher goes to D.C. to his othe job as a firefighter.
Station 33, 1:30AM – it's a quiet moment. They just finished cleaning the bay. Fire Chief Tony Kelleher sits in the Day Room watching television with the guys, it's sounds like it's been a busy day.
Rollover & Pump Testing With Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District: This webisode follows on of the firefighter/engineers with this Sierra foothills combination department. His day starts off arriving on-scene of a Toyota truck with a camper that had rolled over on the very curvy highway road not far from the Jenny Lind Station. With critical care hospitals so far away, most often a Helicopter must be called in to transport patients. The Chief of this mountain town is progressive with everything he does and a new heliport is on his agenda.
The crew of Truck 11 out of Station #11 start their 48 with one of the members from the crew getting their "Fit Test" for their SCBA Mask, then, it's time for shopping. An added protein to tonights dinner, Rattle Snake, night falls, a call come in for a vehicle accident, it's the next call where the "jaw of life" are needed to extricate police officers from their cruiser.
This morning, Chief Kelleher and the crew clean the rigs, the get thrashed in the winter; a call comes in, it's supporting a Hazmat Incident at NASA; it's by invitation only, and even then, you can't just walk in.

Sta. 9 with an Eng., Trk, and a B.C. Today it's Serrano who arrives on the scene of a major metal building collapse.
B.C. Serrano at Division- a call comes in, it's a structure fire, we arrive on scene- it's an auto on fire in the open carport under an apartment building, this can be very dangerous in any city, the battalion is on scene. Back at the station, then, Rescue 2 responds to a call. Back at the station we experience one of the huge dangers at fire stations across america; but this is changing. Fuel Pumps close enough that all the fumes rise through the building, a building where men and women sleep upstairs; you all know what's happening here.
Station 13, Water Rescue Teams Train at the pool, then the swift water of the river. A Desperate man bleeds our from ontop of a freeway CA99 road sign, the freeway shuts down and their's a standoff.
Station 4 "C" Shift. The four man crew staffs the Tower Ladder Truck, The USAR Rig that is also used for Water Rescue; they wish they could be a combination station again. This 48 starts out with a the team going over the equipment necessary for finding victims of an earthquake that may be stuck under the rubble. Time to go shopping for chow for the next 48 hours and, back at the station, they cook their lunch. As busy as this station is, they still find time to exercise. A call comes in – its a big roll of something in the water canal, possibly a wrapped body.
